We denounce the abuse, violence and torture inflicted on our colleagues of Global Sumud Flottilla during their unlawful detention in Israel, as confirmed by legal support organizations.
This is a further evidence of the lack of political responsiveness of the European and international community, and the long-standing impunity for the State of Israel
We are carrying out our legitimate work as deputies, journalists, doctors, nurses, sailors and citizens. We are a lawful, civic mission to open a sea corridor -in accordance with the international law- so that aid can be delivered without hindrance from the same state that is deliberately starving Palestinians to death.
We urgently call on you to sanction Israel and stop your participation in the genocide.
We urgently call on you to uphold and enforce international, humanitarian and maritime law.
We urgently call on you to guarantee the safety of our crew and mission
